Why is Advertising Necessary?

Advertising is inevitable part of economy and is vital to the business world. It is the tool to communicate between companies and users.

There is cut throat competition in business. It is impossible for companies to create their brand awareness without advertising. Advertisement creates awareness among people, about the various products and services which may be useful to them in various ways and are available.


Advertising increases sales by creating awareness and building perception

Advertising presents persuasive arguments to lead to sale

Advertising helps to differentiate brands

Advertising works when it is different and breaks the clutter. Then only it gets noticed.

Advertising deals indirectly with potential action (purchase), on the part of someone by creating interest and emotion that turn them towards the product or service advertised.

Advertising is not asking the consumer to go buy the service or product, but helps to create a liking or inclination towards the brand. This positive attitude for the brand more often leads to purchase.

At the same time, the other components in the marketing mix, mediated by competitive activity in the market place, will all contribute to the likelihood of someone actually banking with bar clays after seeing the advertising.

Advertising is critical for the image and lifecycle of a brand.
